Emily Fisch is a Law Clerk at Vernon Litigation Group. She assists attorneys with legal research, drafting, case preparation, and litigation support across a variety of matters.
Emily is currently a rising third-year law student at Ave Maria School of Law, where she serves as Secretary of the Women’s Law Association and Secretary of the Criminal Justice Society. She also works as a Student Assistant to the Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research Department, where she supports faculty and assists in coordinating upper-level oral arguments and academic programming.
Prior to joining Vernon Litigation Group, Emily gained legal experience through internships in both private practice and government settings, including positions with McLaughlin & Stern, LLP and the Town of Smithtown Attorney’s Office. Her experience includes legal research, drafting memoranda and motions, and assisting attorneys with litigation and client matters.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Stony Brook University.
Outside of her legal studies and professional work, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors and maintaining an active lifestyle. She enjoys boxing, strength training, and spending time at the beach, as well as outdoor activities such as windsurfing. Emily also enjoys reading and values opportunities to explore new places, stay active, and maintain balance outside of the practice of law.
